About Urban Impact Ministries

Since 1989, Urban Impact Ministries has been "transforming the 'hood" through its outreach programs to underprivileged youth and their families in the inner city of New Orleans. Transforming the 'hood by enabling people to reach their God-given potential. Transforming the 'hood by helping people fulfill their hopes and dreams. And transforming the 'hood by strengthening people in their spiritual, emotional, and intellectual character. Transformation is taking place!! It is taking place through: Education programs, indigenous leadership development, recreational opportunites, job training assistance, church activities, Bible studies, spiritual renewal, youth clubs, camp experiences, and much more. These are all being used to implement our mission and empower our neighbors to seek a brighter tomorrow.
