About Urban Impact Foundation

Urban Impact Foundation is a people-oriented nonprofit Christian community development corporation committed to rebuilding the fabric of Pittsburgh's north side one person, one family, one block at a time through value-based programs. Urban Impact was formed as a holistic community development corporation that works with youth, families, and the community to bring about transformation in the lives of youth and to "make disciples who make disciples". The organization attracts youth to its programs in the Arts, Athletics, and Education and uses a holistic approach to develop the mind, body, spirit, and social skills. Through these programs relationships are built, and mentoring of youth takes place to build dignity, a positive world view, and .grow in the Gospel of Jesus Christ to build character and a hope for the future. Most of the youth come from poverty, single parent families, and diverse races. Urban Impact seeks to work with these youth from Kindergarten to Post high school.
