About Ukraine Partnership Foundation
All (UPF) grants are to or for the benefit of the Ukrainian Baptist Theological Seminary (UBTS) and related entities, including its country-wide network of 20+ WeCare Centers. UBTS is a Baptist seminary that is located in Lviv, Ukraine. UBTS is registered in Lviv and Ukraine, as a religious organization. Since 2022, UBTS has graduated over 2,100 students, plus approximately 1,200 students in non-theological certificate programs. Since the start of the war in 2022, in addition to the educational statistics listed above, the seminary and its affiliated WeCare Centers have: (A) Provided relief aid to over 475,000 Ukrainians (B) Delivered over 900,000 pounds of relief supplies through the (WCC) network (C) Provided Christian, psychological, medical, and family counseling to more than 1,500 people (D) Started over 50 churches (D) Distributed thousands of Bibles, started hundreds of Bible Study groups, and baptized hundreds of new believers. The financial support provided by UPF to UBTS is monitored in the following ways: 1) The Board of Directors of UPF determines the financial support that UBTS will receive from UPF and the purposes for which the funds will be expended. 2) UPF periodically receives a budget and financial statements from UBTS. 3) The Chairman of the UPF board, and several board members work on a continual basis with the President of UBTS, to ascertain that the financial support UPF provides is used for the purposes that are consistent with the mission of UPF. This includes ongoing conversations regarding the management and long term direction of the seminary. 4) The Chairman of UPF and several board members hold meetings in the US with the President of UBTS, to review and monitor progress. Additionally, the UBTS President regularly addresses the full Board of Directors during their meetings. We also send the Chief Financial Officer, and other UPF agents to Lviv, Ukraine to do a personal review of UBTS and many of the mission activities supported by UPF. In addition to all this, sub-committees led by Board members, provides active oversight of UBTS Seminary educational operations, WeCare Center management, and capital improvement projects. None of the UPF grants are for the benefit of Russia or Russia controlled entities.
