Camp Tilikum is a Christian summer camp and retreat center nestled among the hazelnut orchards and rolling hills of Newberg, Oregon. They are located only 45 minutes southwest of Portland and an hour northwest of Salem. Tilikum's mission is to be a place for: experiencing creation, building community, providing refuge, encountering God, and changing lives.Camp Tilikum is an ideal location for group retreats, day-use planning sessions, and school or church outings. The pastoral setting includes 93 acres of woods, 13 acre lake, three miles of hiking trails, recreation building, challenge course, and a restored 1909 one-room school house. The retreat center is a hotel-style lodge for up to 58 people. A capital campaign is in process to build additional overnight housing (an 6 cabin village for 48 people).
