About The Congregational Methodist Church
The purpose of The Congregational Methodist Church is that, "They envision a denomination that effectively evangelizes the lost in their communities, advances the Kingdom both at home and abroad, develops leaders to ensure its legacy, and thrives as a healthy community of purpose driven, highly motivated believers." There are two arms of ministry that constitute the various divisions of ministry. These are the Division of Church Ministries and the Division of Mission Ministries. This is in addition to the Office of the President. Their focus in serving their denomination is that they exist for the purpose of serving clergy, strengthening congregations and starting churches.
What “Trusted” Means
Trusted ministries meet our complete baseline framework for faithful Christian operation. This ministry has been verified against eleven of fifteen criteria in The Most Trusted Standard — demonstrating doctrinal clarity, biblical stewardship, independent financial review, faithful handling of donor intent, independent board governance, conflict-of-interest protections, truthful communications, and active mission-aligned programs.
Trusted represents the foundation on which our higher designations are built. Highly Trusted and Most Trusted ministries demonstrate additional levels of public transparency and independent evaluation that go beyond this baseline.
