Tennessee Baptist Foundation
About Tennessee Baptist Foundation
The Tennessee Baptist Foundation (TBF) exists to faithfully steward God's resources, while striving to further God's Kingdom. The TBF is the financial institution of the Tennessee Baptist Mission Board. As such the foundation provides certain financial services for institutions and churches affiliated with the convention, including funds management, trust and memorial funds administration and estate planning help. Foundation services extend to individual members of affiliated Tennessee Baptist Convention churches who desire to include some Baptist cause within their plans through its estate planning and charitable trust services. Additionally, the foundation serves as fiduciary of estates and executor of estates for clients upon request. The foundation does not offer investment products or fund management services for individuals except when it serves as fiduciary for a charitable trust or annuity.
What “Trusted” Means
Trusted ministries meet our complete baseline framework for faithful Christian operation. This ministry has been verified against eleven of fifteen criteria in The Most Trusted Standard — demonstrating doctrinal clarity, biblical stewardship, independent financial review, faithful handling of donor intent, independent board governance, conflict-of-interest protections, truthful communications, and active mission-aligned programs.
Trusted represents the foundation on which our higher designations are built. Highly Trusted and Most Trusted ministries demonstrate additional levels of public transparency and independent evaluation that go beyond this baseline.
