About Southern Evangelical Seminary
The ministry of Southern Evangelical Seminary (SES) is to train men and women, based on the inerrant and infallible written Word of God, for the evangelization of the world and defense of the historic Christian Faith. Southern Evangelical Seminary strives to develop competent Christian leadership and service through quality graduate programs. Central to this purpose is the provision of a Biblical basis and an academic understanding of our commitment to Christ. SES offers a unique and complete integration of classical philosophy, Biblical theology and apologetics throughout all courses and programs. This education will enable the learner to fulfill his/her personal and professional goals as a Christian leader and as an active citizen in the society in which we live.
What “Trusted” Means
Trusted ministries meet our complete baseline framework for faithful Christian operation. This ministry has been verified against eleven of fifteen criteria in The Most Trusted Standard — demonstrating doctrinal clarity, biblical stewardship, independent financial review, faithful handling of donor intent, independent board governance, conflict-of-interest protections, truthful communications, and active mission-aligned programs.
Trusted represents the foundation on which our higher designations are built. Highly Trusted and Most Trusted ministries demonstrate additional levels of public transparency and independent evaluation that go beyond this baseline.
