About Sheltering Wings

Sheltering Wings partners with churches by sending missionaries who take the gospel of Jesus Christ in word and deed to the world. This will be accomplished by equipping and supporting individuals to fulfill the Great Commission.The vision of Sheltering Wings is to glorify Jesus by following His simple commission to “go and make disciples of all nations” (Matthew 28:19). To that end, in partnership with each sending church, this organization helps: To send missionaries to areas of the world needing to hear the gospel. To recruit and train individuals to serve as missionaries. To collaborate the ongoing care of the missionary. To facilitate the transition from everyday life to the mission field for every missionary. To encourage missionaries to continually develop their God given talents and abilities.
