About Serving Our Neighbor International

Serving Our Neighbor International's (SON) purpose is to share the love of Jesus and advance God’s Kingdom by serving our neighbors with water and community development projects. Currently, SON's primarily activities include the operation of two bio-sand water filter workshops in Tanzania. Bio-sand filters are constructed and installed in Tanzanian homes. Educational seminars are held for the filter recipients which include both physical and spiritual components on Water Treatment, Sanitation & Hygiene (WASH). The gospel message is incorporated into these seminars. Educational WASH and Puberty seminars are also taught in the local primary schools.
