About Pittsburgh Kids Foundation
The Pittsburgh Kids Foundation is for youth pastors, churches, and anyone who is interested in reaching kids for Jesus and helping to expand the Kingdom of God in Pittsburgh and beyond. The PKF helps churches and others working with youth to be more effective and strategic in their efforts. They build a community of youth pastors through monthly city-wide meetings, their Quads, and other intentional programs. They come alongside youth pastors by collaborating with them to operate outreach retreats and camps for kids in middle and high school. The PKF is committed to building a network of youth pastors who are well connected to each other and resources that can help them be more effective. The PKF builds partnerships with other like-minded organizations to be a team player in Christ's mission. The PKF currently works to support the efforts of three children's homes on the outskirts of Haiti. They have been actively involved in connecting kids from Pittsburgh to the lives of Haitian
What “Highly Trusted” Means
Highly Trusted reflects a ministry's commitment to operating transparently and accountably beyond Christian-specific stewardship standards alone. This ministry has been verified against fourteen of fifteen criteria of The Most Trusted Standard — demonstrating biblical financial integrity, sound governance, and a complete framework of governance policies.
What distinguishes Highly Trusted is the additional commitment to public transparency. This ministry has made its financial records, governance information, and program reporting accessible to the public, putting its operations in the open where any donor can examine them.
