Orlando Union Rescue Mission
About Orlando Union Rescue Mission
The Orlando Union Rescue Mission has been serving the poor and homeless in the Central Florida area since 1948. The Mission operates residential programs to help homeless men, women and families escape homelessness permanently. The programs include immediate relief with hot meals, showers, personal hygiene items, and clean clothing. The primary purpose of those programs, however, is to provide the education, addiction recovery, training, counseling, and other assistance to equip them for long-term independence and self-sufficiency. The Mission rests all its efforts on the Biblical injunction to help "the least of these my brothers and sisters," and seeks to help all residents develop and deepen a personal relationship with Christ.
