About North Parkersburg Baptist Church

North Parkersburg Baptist is a vibrant, multi-generational church located on the West Virginia/Ohio border. Since its founding in 1913, North has grown into a large congregation, with multiple ministries that serve our local community and region. Our mission is to “make more and better disciples” which is based on Matthew 28:19-20. Within in our community, we provide:- Sunday Worship services at 9:00 and 10:30am, as well as programming and services throughout the week, including Kids and Student Ministries, Adult Ministries and Stephen Ministry. We also serve the community through our 'Choice' Food Pantry and Clothing Closet ministries.- North Christian School (NCS) is an accredited school for students Pre-School through 7th Grade. NCS's mission is to develop strong Christ-like character and academic excellence in a safe Christian environment. - The Friendship Kitchen provides a place for people from all walks of life to come together for food and fellowship three days a week.- North Place Maternity House provides a safe environment for expectant moms to stay when they find themselves in an unplanned pregnancy. As of August 2024, 40 babies have been born through our North Place Maternity House.- North Food Pantry is a “choice” pantry that allows guests to “shop” for food items their families like and need. The pantry serves anyone in need and is operated by appointment only.- The Clothing Closet provides a unique shopping experience for families with young children. Each appointment time slot allows guests to pick up to 10 clothing items and other essential needs for their children.
