Minnesota Adult & Teen Challenge
About Minnesota Adult & Teen Challenge
Minnesota Adult & Teen Challenge (MnTC) is a faith-based residential recovery program. Our mission is to assist teens and adults in gaining freedom from chemical addictions and other life controlling problems by addressing their physical, emotional and spiritual needs. MnTC provides comprehensive, multi-disciplinary services to diverse clients with a history of chronic addiction. MnTC offers three separate programs for teens and adults: a 13 month recovery program, a shorter-term licensed chemical dependency treatment program, and community based outpatient recovery care and mental health counseling. While in the program, residents work on overcoming the self-destructive behaviors associated with their substance abuse and developing positive life skills. Our comprehensive approach to addiction is founded upon 4 pillars:• Prevention: Annually educating 60,000 youth on the dangers of substance use• Licensed Treatment Programming: Inpatient & Outpatient• Long-term Recovery: A 13-month, faith-based approach to recovery• Aftercare: Providing outpatient recovery care, mental health services, and job support
