Liberty Ministries
About Liberty Ministries
Liberty Ministries exists to serve offenders in prison and ex-offenders in the community by showing God's love, providing practical assistance, and supporting biblical standards of justice. (Mission Statement)We were incorporated in 1980. We have 160 volunteers who minister to men and women in prisons in the Philadelphia suburbs. We have a faith-based, Christ-centered residential program that houses up to 18 men. Phase One Program lasts up to 12 months and the Phase Two Program lasts up to two years. We have five thrift stores and a warehouse that employ the men for a minimum of three months. Our future plans include a Women's Residential Program that will house up to five women for up to three years.
