About Lakeside Christian Church

Love Jesus. Love like Jesus. Help others do the same. When we developed our mission statement we wanted it to be able to pass the elevator test. By this we mean that if someone stepped into an elevator with us, we should be able to share our mission before we arrive at the next stop. If you have ever ridden in an elevator, you know that does not give you much time. Therefore, if our mission seems simple, it is not by accident but by design. Our mission is simple, it is repeatable, but more importantly, it's Biblical. Jesus was once asked, "Of all the important commandments, which is the most important?" Jesus answered this way, " 'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.' And the second is like it: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.' There is no commandment greater than these." Matthew 22:35-40
