About Lakeshore Rescue Missions
Lakeshore Rescue Missions provides shelter, food, clothing, and other emergency services to all men, women, and children (with parents) who are in need. Food assistance is provided through an on-site feeding program and a food pantry for off-site (in home) meals. Two Thrift Stores and an auto center provide, as well as sell, clothing, furniture, and other household needs for the benefit of the ministry. Daily Bible study and chapel services are also conducted for all clients of the Mission. Several Vocational Education tracks are offered to clients of the Mission. The Mission also provides temporary employment to qualified clients of the Mission
What “Trusted” Means
Trusted ministries meet our complete baseline framework for faithful Christian operation. This ministry has been verified against eleven of fifteen criteria in The Most Trusted Standard — demonstrating doctrinal clarity, biblical stewardship, independent financial review, faithful handling of donor intent, independent board governance, conflict-of-interest protections, truthful communications, and active mission-aligned programs.
Trusted represents the foundation on which our higher designations are built. Highly Trusted and Most Trusted ministries demonstrate additional levels of public transparency and independent evaluation that go beyond this baseline.
