About Knox Area Rescue Ministries
Since 1960, Knox Area Rescue Ministries (KARM) has been feeding the hungry, helping the needy and healing the wounds of lives shattered by homelessness, poverty, violence and despair. Our mission is to seek to rescue the poor and needy in the Knox area by providing recovery services in Jesus' name. By reaching out to hurting men, women and children in Jesus' name, we seek to renew lives. Major programs include overnight shelter for men and women, residential recovery for women, residential restoration program for men, a community feeding program, and a residential program that includes case management, addiction counseling, job training and other training/counseling sessions for men, women and children.
