International Disaster Emergency Service (IDES) exists to meet the physical and spiritual needs of suffering people throughout the world in the name of Jesus Christ. We connect with local Christian Churches and Churches of Christ as we serve our main focus areas: Disaster Response, Development, and Disciple-Making. Everything IDES does revolves around sharing the hope we have in Jesus Christ. Whether responding to disasters, relieving hunger and malnutrition, developing sustainable solutions for impoverished communities, or caring for those with medical needs - it is done to share the Gospel.
