Hope's Promise
About Hope's Promise
Hope’s Promise believes that every child deserves a stable and nurturing family, so children are our priority. Dedicated to support and care for children through our foster care, adoption, and orphan care programs, Hope’s Promise advocates for ethical practice standards and the best interest of each child. We believe God planned families as the best place for children to grow and thrive; families that love, nurture and empower their children to achieve their full potential. In our adoption program, we provide domestic adoption services to couples who want to grow their family through adoption. We work to empower and equip them to successfully parent the children God entrusts to them. We also offer free options counseling to women and men experiencing an unintended pregnancy. Through our foster care program, we recruit, train, and support foster families who are willing to provide temporary care to children needing out-of-home placement. These foster parents provide the children with opportunities for physical and emotional healing through the experience of healthy relationships. Our foster care program is an investment in the stability and permanency of Colorado families by supporting reunification efforts for youth in foster care. Our unique model of family-based care, developed from social work best practice, supports orphaned and vulnerable children in families in Kenya, Zimbabwe, Vietnam, and Nepal. We believe what orphaned and vulnerable children need most are families - whether with relative or non-relative parents. When a child loses a parent, sometimes the remaining parent or other loving relatives simply need support, such as assistance with education costs, to continue caring for the child. Whenever possible, we extend support to preserve these biological connections. Sometimes orphaned and vulnerable children are unable to remain in the care of biological relatives due to death, neglect, or abuse. In partnership with local indigenous churches, we place and support these children in families with non-relative, indigenous Christian parents. We empower and equip parents to provide for the children’s lifelong physical, emotional, social and spiritual needs and assist them with adequate financial support through partnership with individuals and churches in the US.
