Hope For Families Worldwide

Since 2005, Hope For Families has collaborated with partners around the world to provide children who need HOPE with a transformational week of summer camp. Most campers come from extreme poverty, government housing, orphanages, foster care or homelessness. Camp provides relief from negative influences and gives space for new perspectives. Our caring and Trauma-trained counselors model healthy choices, offer positive relationships and most importantly, share about the HOPE we have in Jesus Christ. Each camper hears the message that they are valuable, created for a good purpose and loved by Jesus. The Gospel is proclaimed throughout camp. We believe the power of that message has the power to radically change us all, regardless of our circumstances or geography. We serve children in Latvia, Costa Rica and Richmond, Virginia. We work in tandem with local partners to insure that all of our campers have opportunities for follow-up discipleship and mentorship year-round.
