Holt International Children's Services
About Holt International Children's Services
Holt International Children's Services is a Christian organization committed to expressing God's compassion for children. Founded in South Korea in 1956, Holt sought loving families in the U.S. for children left orphaned and abandoned in the wake of the Korean War - thereby pioneering the modern era of international adoption. Today, Holt continues to find and support permanent, loving families for children in countries around the world who are orphaned, abandoned or at serious risk of separation from their families. Much more than an adoption agency, Holt also develops and maintains a diverse set of overseas programs to give vulnerable children safe and nurturing environments in which to grow and thrive. Holt serves children and families regardless of race, religion, ethnicity or gender, and always puts the welfare of children first.
