Good Samaritan Network is directly involved in helping under-served individuals and families within Hamilton County. Typically direct services involve emergency or crisis intervention for: housing and utility assistance, food insecurities, car repairs, medical and prescription assistance, as well as educational opportunities for improving personalindependence. GSN oversees its signature Holiday Assistance program reaching 26,978 and provides direct assistance and care when clients have nowhere else to turn. The network was established to ensure efficiency and communication among the different groups (268 agencies, 47 pantries, 280 churches, 9 township trustees, 69schools) who serve the needs of Hamilton County resident at risk. Individuals, nonprofits, corporations, businesses, agencies, schools and churches are critical in forging a community-based partnership with Good Samaritan Network.
