About Global Scholars
Global Scholars equips Christian professors to have a redemptive influence among their students, colleagues, universities, and academic disciplines. Our vision is that one day every student, university, and discipline will have Christian professors who communicate the truth, goodness, and beauty of Christ. Ministering to professors in secular colleges and universities, we offer a full slate of programs proven to be effective in developing Christian scholars to be Christ’s ambassadors, including mentoring, webinars, conferences, and editorial services. We have equipped professors in 92 nations throughout our history, many of which are closed to traditional missionaries. Global Scholars started in 1986 as a sending agency for missional Christian academics. In 2019, we launched the Society of Christian Scholars to engage more professors, including indigenous Christian academics. In the 2024-25 fiscal year, we equipped more than 2,100 professors in 75 countries and in all five broad disciplinary categories.

Most Trusted is our highest designation, reflecting the full convergence of Christian stewardship, public transparency, and independently confirmed operational excellence. This ministry has been verified against all fifteen criteria of The Most Trusted Standard — every standard in our framework, across all four pillars of faith foundation, financial integrity, governance, and transparency.
Beyond meeting our baseline standards and demonstrating comprehensive public accountability, this ministry has been independently evaluated against rigorous nonprofit performance benchmarks and confirmed to operate at the highest standard in its sector.
