Free Chapel
About Free Chapel
Free Chapel is a nondenominational church based in Gainesville, GA, founded in July 1953. Our mission is to inspire people to live for Jesus. We have an online campus and seven physical campuses: five in Georgia, one in Irvine, California and one in Spartanburg, South Carolina. Free Chapel reaches every state in the U.S. and nations around the globe through Jentezen Franklin Media Ministries and the Kingdom Connection television broadcasts. The ministry engages in special projects on a national and global level. Recent projects include providing meals and support for people in Haiti, helping establish communities of faith and sponsoring outreach projects in Israel, operating a mobile medical unit to help women in crisis pregnancies and hosting weekly services at multiple prison facilities. We consistently support programs for disaster relief, addiction recovery, human trafficking victims and the homeless. Free Chapel also hosts dynamic youth and women's conferences every year.
What “Trusted” Means
Trusted ministries meet our complete baseline framework for faithful Christian operation. This ministry has been verified against eleven of fifteen criteria in The Most Trusted Standard — demonstrating doctrinal clarity, biblical stewardship, independent financial review, faithful handling of donor intent, independent board governance, conflict-of-interest protections, truthful communications, and active mission-aligned programs.
Trusted represents the foundation on which our higher designations are built. Highly Trusted and Most Trusted ministries demonstrate additional levels of public transparency and independent evaluation that go beyond this baseline.
