Four States Christian Missions
About Four States Christian Missions
Four States Christian Missions, Inc. was founded in 1955 as a ministry to men who are damaged by alcohol and drugs, and are physically and spiritually weakened. Operating as The Hope Center at Hagerstown Rescue Mission, our purpose is to feed, clothe, and house these men while providing for their spiritual needs as well. The ministry has grown into a multi-faceted work with outreaches to women, families, and children, a summer day camp, concerts, and a ladies' Bible study, and seven other ministries being started.
What “Most Trusted” Means
Most Trusted is our highest designation, reflecting the full convergence of Christian stewardship, public transparency, and independently confirmed operational excellence. This ministry has been verified against all fifteen criteria of The Most Trusted Standard — every standard in our framework, across all four pillars of faith foundation, financial integrity, governance, and transparency.
Beyond meeting our baseline standards and demonstrating comprehensive public accountability, this ministry has been independently evaluated against rigorous nonprofit performance benchmarks and confirmed to operate at the highest standard in its sector.
