About Focus on the Family

Focus on the Family is a nondenominational religious organization whose primary objective is to be led by the Holy Spirit in sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ with as many people as possible by nurturing and affirming the God-ordained institution of the family and proclaiming biblical truths worldwide. This ministry is based upon six guiding principles: (1) The preeminence of evangelism, (2) The permanence of marriage, (3) The value of children, (4) The sanctity of human life, (5) The importance of social responsibility, and (6) the value of male and female.The primary means of accomplishing these goals are radio broadcasts, periodicals, books, films, videos, internet, and events which share the message with constituents, schools, churches, and the public at large in the United States as well as around the world.
