About Engaging Disability With The Gospel
Engaging Disability With The Gospel's mission is to coach churches to disciple and enfold kids, teens, and adults with disabilities.Individuals and families impacted by disability experience unique challenges that often keep them from growing in Christ. We are passionate about coaching parents, teachers, pastors, volunteers, and friends how to appropriately adapt discipleship so that everyone can grow in Christ. We coach churches to take small steps to adapt their existing ministry areas for people with disabilities, resulting in lasting, sustainable changes. Our desire is for everyone to be able to participate in worship, experience genuine fellowship, and serve alongside others in the congregation. The goal of our church coaching process is to strengthen your congregation through intentional, small steps to disciple and enfold kids, teens, and adults with disabilities. As the body of Christ works together to support unique needs and develop genuine friendships, everyone grows and thrives.
What “Highly Trusted” Means
Highly Trusted reflects a ministry's commitment to operating transparently and accountably beyond Christian-specific stewardship standards alone. This ministry has been verified against fourteen of fifteen criteria of The Most Trusted Standard — demonstrating biblical financial integrity, sound governance, and a complete framework of governance policies.
What distinguishes Highly Trusted is the additional commitment to public transparency. This ministry has made its financial records, governance information, and program reporting accessible to the public, putting its operations in the open where any donor can examine them.
