About EMIT USA
The mission of EMIT USA is to train and equip church leaders in Africa. Amidst political changes, civil wars, the ravishment of AIDS, etc., there is a fast growing, vibrant church with a huge need for trained pastors to ensure stability, maturity and ongoing advancement of the Kingdom of God.EMIT provides a non-formal model of training with a multiplication factor built in. Key leaders are selected and trained who have committed themselves to use the material and skills attained to train other untrained church leaders. In our semi-annual intensive seminars we follow a curriculum with focus on three vital aspects of church leadership; (1) Personal and Biblical Character development, (2) Pastoral and Ministry skills development, (3) Competence in addressing social and contextual issues as well as the ability to contribute meaningfully to community development.
