About Deerfoot Lodge

Since 1930, Deerfoot Lodge has been building godly young men in Christ-centered community through wilderness camping in a single location in New York’s Adirondack Mountains. Over nine decades, thousands of boys and young men have experienced the power of a program and community solely focused on their spiritual well-being, growth and development. In 2019, Deerfoot opened its second location in North Carolina's Blue Ridge Mountains. Deerfoot’s mission and vision are based in the life-changing Gospel of Jesus Christ and our concern for the plight of boys and men in our culture. We provide a program that emphasizes wilderness skills development and challenges. There, we give participants focused attention and encouragement to grow as men of character and in their commitment to Jesus Christ. Our approach to ministry emphasizes intentional and focused attention on each camper and staff person. As a result, we prioritize deeper impact on individuals over a more general impact on a crowd.
