About Creative Ministries

Since 1984, Creative Ministries has used the creative arts to communicate the Gospel in relevant ways. Creative Ministries owns WJTL FM which broadcasts a contemporary Christian music format to a central Pennsylvania area. Arbitron ratings for 2011 showed a weekly listenership exceeding 105,000 people who tuned in an average of 6.1 hours per week. In 2004, the Gospel Music Association honored WJTL with the prestigious "Lifetime Achievement Award." The organization also sponsors numerous special concerts and special events each year with the goal of impacting lives for Christ. Creative Ministries works hard to serve and promote other Christian organizations both over the air and at special events. WJTL also participates in many local secular community events which would never allow a preacher but freely allow the same message to go forth if presented in song. Creative Ministries has found the universal language of music to be effective at breaking down barriers and opening hearts
