The Christian Community Development Association (CCDA) was founded to develop a strong fellowship of those involved in Christian community development and encourage new developments through training, education and inspiration. Their mission is to strengthen and inspire Christian Community Development practitioners for community transformation through equipping and connecting using the eight components of the Christian community development philosophy: 1.Reconciliation; 2.Relocation (Living in community); 3.Redistribution (Just distribution of resources); 4.Leadership development; 5.Listening to community; 6.Church based; 7.Wholistic approach; 8.Empowerment. The vision of the Christian Community Development Association is to see flourishing communities with Christians (w)holistically engaged.
