About Christian Aid Ministries
Christian Aid Ministries' (CAM) purpose is to be a trustworthy and efficient channel for the church to minister to physical and spiritual needs around the world. While CAM is primarily a channel for Amish, Mennonite, and other conservative Anabaptist groups, many other concerned individuals also contribute to CAM programs and projects. Annually, CAM distributes between 25 and 35 million pounds of food, clothing, medicine, seeds, Bibles, Bible storybooks, and other Christian literature. Much of the aid goes to needy children, orphans, and Christian families. CAM's main purposes for providing aid are: 1) to help and encourage God's people and 2) to help bring the Gospel to a lost and dying world. CAM has staff, warehouses, and distribution networks in Romania, Moldova, Ukraine, Haiti, Nicaragua, Liberia, Kenya, and Israel. Our Disaster Response Services program and Rapid Response teams coordinate volunteers to clean up and rebuild in natural disaster areas in the USA, and internationally
What “Highly Trusted” Means
Highly Trusted reflects a ministry's commitment to operating transparently and accountably beyond Christian-specific stewardship standards alone. This ministry has been verified against fourteen of fifteen criteria of The Most Trusted Standard — demonstrating biblical financial integrity, sound governance, and a complete framework of governance policies.
What distinguishes Highly Trusted is the additional commitment to public transparency. This ministry has made its financial records, governance information, and program reporting accessible to the public, putting its operations in the open where any donor can examine them.
