About Central Union Mission

Central Union Mission is a charitable Christian rescue mission that proclaims and teaches the Gospel, leads people to Christ, develops disciples, and serves the needs of hurting people throughout the Washington metropolitan area. We minister to men through our DC shelter, daily chapel and Men's Spiritual Transformation Programs, counseling and Bible studies, education and job assistance.We minister to men, women and children through our Comprehensive Family Resource Center in DC and Mission NOVA in Northern Virginia providing free distribution of food, clothing, and furniture, chapel services and hosting wraparound services including workforce development, legal aid, and medical services.We minister to children by sharing the Gospel at our Camp Bennett summer camp in MD.
