About Central Ohio Youth for Christ

Central Ohio Youth for Christ (COYFC) is a local affiliate of YFC/USA. We serve young people 11-19 throughout the state of Ohio. Our teens come from various locations and a spectrum of life situations: urban, suburban, rural, incarcerated, Deaf and Hard of Hearing, and teen parents. We also have an anti-sex trafficking program which reaches out to and serves teens who have been trafficked. It includes a preventive education program that teaches in schools and in businesses to help prevent trafficking and recognize the signs in teens who are trafficked.Our robust team of staff and volunteers partner with local churches and like-minded organizations with the goal of equipping teens to become life-long followers of Jesus through evangelism and discipleship. Using a relational holistic approach in order to meet a variety of needs, our ministry outreach includes after-school clubs and Bible studies, job and life-skills training, professional counseling, mentoring and tutoring, chaplaincy in juvenile detention centers, arts and crafts, sports and recreational activities, summer and winter camps, and an anti-bullying program. More than 2,000 teens every year are impacted by one of the mentioned YFC outreach programs and more than 4,000 teens and adults benefit from the anti-human trafficking program whether through case-management, education, or the residential program.
