About CareCenter Ministries
The mission of CareCenter Ministries is to bring hope to the least, the lost and the lonely through the good news of the Gospel and programs that strengthen the hand of the poor. The following are some of their programs. The Basket is a food program serving the needy in the inner-city of Dallas. The RACE is a one-year residential program for men with life-controlling problems. Tree of Life is a one-year women's residential program for women with life-controlling issues as well as a refuge for abused women. The Leadership Academy is a two-year study program for those who wish to pursue hands-on missionary work; graduates earn an Associate of Bible Studies degree. Apartment Community Transformation Services (ACTS) focuses on building relationships with families in specific apartment complexes through outreaches. Care Center Community Center is a go-to location where indigenous families can find Christ-centered activities such as sports, entertainment and educational training.
What “Highly Trusted” Means
Highly Trusted reflects a ministry's commitment to operating transparently and accountably beyond Christian-specific stewardship standards alone. This ministry has been verified against fourteen of fifteen criteria of The Most Trusted Standard — demonstrating biblical financial integrity, sound governance, and a complete framework of governance policies.
What distinguishes Highly Trusted is the additional commitment to public transparency. This ministry has made its financial records, governance information, and program reporting accessible to the public, putting its operations in the open where any donor can examine them.
