Both Hands Foundation
About Both Hands Foundation
Both Hands' mission is to fulfill James 1:27 by serving orphans, widows, and Christian adoptive families. Studies show that the #1 reason families considering adoption aren't able to move forward is the increasing costs, which can range from $30k-60k. Our average project from 2021-2024 raised $23,000 per adoptive families, which significantly increases their ability to adopt and can help more children be placed into forever families. Both Hands' model helps Christian adoptive families raise funds for their adoptions through coordinating a service project fixing up a widow's home. Similar to a 5k race, the family gathers a team of volunteers who send out sponsorship letters to raise funds for the project day. Instead of running in a 5k, the volunteer group serves a widow with free home improvements and all of the funds raised goes towards the family's adoption. Our vision is to see the day when finances are no longer an obstacle for Christian families who are led to adopt, while simultaneously serving every widow in need, empowering the body of Christ to live out James 1:27.
