About Blessman International
Blessman International, its donors, and volunteers provide South African children and young adults with God’s love and eternal hope through faith formation and programs to feed hungry people, foster food-secure communities, offer dignity through the provision of essential water and sanitation needs, and provide opportunities for child development and learning. Within the next ten years, we want every child in Limpopo, South Africa, to know eternal hope through Jesus Christ, have access to essential human services, and receive the nurturing support necessary to reach their potential. Our church plants have weekly prayer services, bible studies, and children’s services. The gospel is proclaimed at our two churches, child development center, Celebrate Recovery programs, Sports 4 Christ programs, and during mission trip outreaches. In addition, there is a faith-based element in our feeding program. Our Celebrate Recovery program presents the gospel to 250 public high school youth each week. The Landing program is a space where the youth we serve can cope with hurts, hang-ups, and habits. It’s a Christ-centered program that addresses destructive or compulsive behaviors, unhealthy relationships, addictions, anger, shame, past abuse, codependency, and more. Last year, we saw these students participate and begin to heal. Blessman International hosts approximately eight mission teams in South Africa each year. Team members engage in shoe ministry, optical outreaches, construction projects, feeding programs, distributing feminine hygiene kits, farming, and working with orphaned children. Blessman International feeds tens of thousands of children every week through food distribution, farm products, and wild game meat.
