About Baptist Medical & Dental Mission International

Commissioned International (CI) exists under the Lordship of Jesus Christ to evangelize the lost, disciple the saved, and minister to the needs of the poor. Our flagship ministry is Short-Term Mission Teams, which sends more than 100 teams across the world each year to meet physical and spiritual needs. Our Volunteers are making a significant difference in the lives of thousands of people each year. In addition to Short-Term Teams, CI provides quality theological preparation for pastors and church leaders, offers quality education to children in need, provides loving and safe environments to abused, abandoned, and orphaned children, and offers adult vocation training that impacts generations.
