About Arkansas Baptist Foundation
The Arkansas Baptist Foundation (“Foundation”) is an incorporated agency of the Arkansas Baptist State Convention (“Convention”) for the purpose of serving the churches, agencies, institutions and ministries of the Convention as well as the greater body of Southern Baptist believers in Jesus Christ. This purpose is preeminent and defining and shall serve as a guide and framework through which the Corporation’s mission, vision, activities, efforts and policies are construed, interpreted and carried out.The Foundation is a charitable organization exempt from income taxation under 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code (“Code”). Contributions to the Foundation are deductible for income, gift, and estate tax purposes under (170)(c), 170(b)(1)(A), 2055(a), and 2522 of the Code. Responsibility for governing the Foundation is vested in the Board of Directors comprised of Arkansas Southern Baptist church members who are elected for a three-year term by the Convention.
