Arise Single Moms

Arise Single Moms serves as a global nonprofit providing outreach to single mothers. Our mission encompasses helping single moms navigate life and strengthening the emotional wellness of the children. We accomplish this in 3 ways:1. In-person events a. Our annual single mothers' conference, THRIVE, provides education, hope, and encouragement for moms to grow stronger and become emotionally and spiritually whole. The weekend includes a childcare program, breakout sessions taught by counselors, trauma therapists, financial experts, etc., and opportunities to connect with other single moms.b. Jingle Jangle, our holiday event, gives moms a booster shot of encouragement before they enter the holidays, their most difficult season. It includes a children’s and middle school program for their kids.c. Single Mom Socials are our monthly gatherings for moms to bring their children for an engaging activity with the opportunity to meet other single moms. Activities such as: family photos in the park, bowling, Thunder basketball game, carnival fun, Splash Pad, and more.2. Equip, our online education center with podcasts, videos, and articles covering the categories of parenting, finances, emotional wellness, and relationships offer pertinent topics to single moms plus training through our online Bible studies. Women from all 50 states and over 110 countries have utilized the resources. Our podcast, The Single Momcast, has 200 episodes and over 60,000 downloads.3. Our Leadership Network provides mentoring and support to single moms leading support groups for other single moms. Arise hosts an annual leaders retreat along with monthly Zoom calls and in-person mentoring. This outreach includes partnerships with other nonprofit organizations to assist with educating and equipping their single moms. Arise Single Moms remains one of the largest single-parent ministries in the nation who is impacting the homes of single-parent families.
