Agape House
About Agape House
Agape House is a ministry that provides hope and healing to teens and young adults; girls ages 12 to 26, and boys ages 12 to 18, that have suffered the effects of abuse. The mission of Agape House is to provide a loving, stable Christ-centered place for abused and hurting teens to receive healing. Agape House is a non-denominational ministry for teens to help them overcome the effects of abuse, addiction and the hurts of their past and foster a closer walk with Christ Jesus. This ministry is largely dependent on the generosity of our donors and granters for financial support. The services provided include Individual and Family Counseling, Mentoring, Respite and After Care, Parenting Classes and Support Groups, School with Individualized Education, Bible Study and Transitional Living for teens who have graduated but still desire guidance and support. Our Teen Homes currently minister to 12 girls and 8 boys with a structured and safe environment to work through their issues, all staffed 24 hours, 7 days. Our fees are based on a sliding scale with scholarships available so that we may offer this healing to all regardless of an ability to pay.
What “Highly Trusted” Means
Highly Trusted reflects a ministry's commitment to operating transparently and accountably beyond Christian-specific stewardship standards alone. This ministry has been verified against fourteen of fifteen criteria of The Most Trusted Standard — demonstrating biblical financial integrity, sound governance, and a complete framework of governance policies.
What distinguishes Highly Trusted is the additional commitment to public transparency. This ministry has made its financial records, governance information, and program reporting accessible to the public, putting its operations in the open where any donor can examine them.
