About Achungo Community Center

Achungo Community Center is dedicated to transforming the lives of orphans and destitute children in Kenya, with provision of care and education, giving them hope and a future, while nurturing integrity and responsibility through training in Christian values. We built and run 2 primary schools and a middle school with over 800 students and sponsor 200 more in Kenyan high schools and colleges. Our schools have become model schools studied by other educators and teachers' colleges. We also build relationships with primary schools in California and their students become penpals and donors as they learn about life in Kenya.
